Cookie Policy

Last updated 23 August 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Evality uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in our application, and how you can control them.

It covers what these technologies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and how you can change your choices at any time. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data.

Evality is a product of THINK HIGHER TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated in India. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” in this policy mean THINK HIGHER TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner.

This policy also covers similar technologies that store or read information on your device, such as browser local storage. Where we say "cookies" below, we mean cookies and these similar technologies together.

3. How we use cookies

We group cookies into three categories: strictly necessary, analytics, and marketing.

Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the service cannot be delivered without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and are switched off until you choose to turn them on. We do not load optional cookies before you give permission.

4. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required to provide the service you have requested. They support signing in, keeping you signed in as you move between pages, protecting your session against misuse, and remembering the cookie choices you make here so we do not ask you repeatedly.

The record of your cookie choices is stored in a first-party cookie shared across our website and application, so a decision you make here is applied consistently when you sign in — you do not have to answer twice.

Because the service cannot function without them, these are not subject to an on/off choice in our cookie tool. If you block them through your browser, parts of the application — including logging in — will not work.

5. Analytics cookies

We use PostHog to understand how our website and application are used — for example which pages are viewed and where people encounter problems — so that we can improve the product.

Analytics is off by default. PostHog is not loaded, does not run, and does not store anything on your device unless you turn analytics on. If you later turn analytics off, we stop analytics collection and clear the analytics identifiers we can reach from your browser.

We do not send candidate personal information to our analytics provider. Analytics events are limited to product usage, and where a signed-in user is identified it is by an internal account identifier rather than by personal contact details.

We do not record your screen or your session. Analytics tells us how pages and features are used, not what any individual candidate's data contains.

6. Marketing cookies

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.

The category exists so that, if we introduce such tools in future, they are covered by the same consent mechanism from the start. Marketing is off by default and will only be used if you turn it on.

7. First-party and third-party cookies

First-party cookies are set by us to operate the service — for example the cookies that keep you signed in, and the record of your cookie preferences stored in your browser.

Third-party cookies are set by a provider we use. Today the only such provider is PostHog, our analytics provider, and it is only used with your permission. Third-party providers handle data under their own privacy terms.

8. Cookie duration

Some cookies last only for your browsing session and are removed when you close your browser. Others persist for longer so that a choice or a session can be remembered across visits.

The table above shows the duration for each category. Exact lifetimes depend on the cookie and, for third-party providers, on that provider's configuration.

9. How you can manage cookie preferences

You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of our website, or with the button below. Necessary cookies stay enabled because the service depends on them.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting cookies already stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies in your browser will prevent parts of the application from working.

11. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the technologies we use or to how we use them. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

Where a change materially affects how we use cookies, we will ask for your choices again rather than relying on a previous answer.
